While we take pride in having kennels that easily accommodate Extra Large Breeds and Multi-Dog Families, ALL breeds and types of dogs are welcome.

Now you can get away and relax, knowing your pet is receiving the care, love and attention he or she would receive in your own home.   Our aim is to provide a safe, clean, healthy, sanitary and comfortable environment for every pet.

Located on a 45-acre ranch right outside of Bryan, Texas, and less than 20 miles from Texas A& M University BYD Kennel offers a healthy atmosphere with personal attention to the needs of each pet.   BYD Kennel was designed for the best of pet care, from its quiet country setting to its individual, super-sized runs.   Other amenities include, but are not limited to:

• 8 x 8 foot indoor room with a pet cot for each pet
• 8 x 20 foot outdoor, shaded run
• Climate controlled
• Fire alarm & security system in place
• Calming background music
• Management lives onsite

We believe that keeping your pet on the same diet he/she is on regularly helps keep the stress level low at boarding time. Therefore, you must provide your pets food with his stay. We actively encourage you to bring a blanket with your or your home’s scent. Bring a toy if you wish, however we cannot guarantee its return.

RESERVATIONS:

While your pet has our attention 24/7, our kennel is not open 24/7. We believe that quiet and calm is the way to provide a stress-free environment for our visiting pets.

Appointments are required in order to visit the kennel, drop off, or pick up your pet. Appointments are available during the following times:

         New Hours - Effective August 15, 2011

Monday - Friday 8:00 a.m. – 10:00 a.m. and 5:00 p.m. – 6:00 p.m.
Saturday 8:00 a.m. – 9:00 a.m.
Sunday 5:00 – 6:00 p.m.

* Appointments are not available on major holidays.

Why by Appointment? I try to be as flexible as I can about meeting your boarding needs; I also have ongoing projects on the ranch. It is very difficult for me to be two places at one time. When I know that you are coming I can schedule my time so that I am not in the middle of a project that I cannot stop once I start-and it makes it difficult to finish :. I also like to be focused solely on my clients when you drop your dog/s off; by appointment lets me do that.

Pricing:

One Dog is now $20.00 per night (instead of $25)
Each additional dog is $15.00 per night.
Three SMALL dogs in ONE kennel is a flat rate of $40.00 per night

Vaccinations:

Rabies and Distemper need to be current (1 year or 3 year)
Bordatella (Canine Cough) current within the last year
No vaccinations can expire while in boarding.

In order to confirm and finalize your reservations we will need to have the completed Pet Information Sheet via email (miriam@bigyelladawg.com) or fax (888-896-1293)and call to confirm your pet's vaccination history with your veterinarian before reservations are confirmed.
